What Will You Find at Spring Art Market?

Looking for a handcrafted gift for Mom this week? These decorative beehives are great for mom's garden, a RS function, the porch, or an entry table. The beehive is not attached to the pedestal for easy outdoor placement. I'm not sure if you can see in the photo the brilliant brass bee next to the beehive entry. The handpainted pedestals are a vintage blue color with muted brown, ivory and gold accents. They are perfect to display a beautiful jewelry box, a small plant or flower, a statue or any other decorative item, in addition to showing off the beehive. I love the message of the tag, perfect for the mom or grandmother who labors and gives to those around her. It quotes St. John Chrysostom, reading "The bee is most honored than other animals, not because she labors, but because she labors for others." And of course, like all my tags they are hand-lettered, painted, gilded, stamped and stitched up just the way I like them.

I have created a couple of these beautiful cones available to hang on your covered porch or back patio near the garden. They are compiled of gorgeous, pale pink silk peonies and white ranunculus, pussy willows, greenery and the little bird's nest reminds us that spring is officially here.

Spring Art Market is this Friday 11am - 6pm and Saturday 10am - 5pm at the Sugarhouse Garden Center located at 1602 E. 2100 S. in Salt Lake City. The Garden Center is a moss green, painted brick building set back on the south side of 2100 S., just before you get to Highland High School. Look for the hot pink Art Market signs and banner.

  1. Hi Aimee! I received your lovely invitation for your recent boutique and was so sad I couldn't make it. (But I kept the invite because I couldn't bear to throw something so beautiful away! And yes, I still have June's b-day invite from years ago tucked away in my craft room!) Please keep me in mind for your next boutique. I love Christmas, so definitely keep me in the loop when you do that boutique. I love your creativity--you truly have a gift.

    Best,
    Jacqui

  2. Thank you Jacqui for your kind words, I will definitely keep you on my list! I'm already dreaming of Christmas, couldn't let the ideas stop last night and I had an awful case of insomnia. It's going to be a great holiday season if I execute what's in my head. Cheers!
